Holly started the Warehouse Magazine, which eventually became the Head Trauma brand, you know and love today. She is the driving spirit behind the event company which brings powerful voices from the music industry to the broken and forgotten people of Memphis and continues to tell the stories of mainstream artists all over.

Holly is known for other projects, including Poetry and Lingerie a site where survivors of domestic violence, like herself, share their stories through their art. Today, she is happily married to her partner, Wes Upchurch, with whom she is raising two boys.

Holly has always been an ambitious spirit, starting her first eZine at a young age. She might be only 4’9″ tall, but that doesn’t mean her dreams are small. She tries to make a difference with everything she does, whether that means making her own soap to raise money for victims of sexual assault or modeling to raise money for a cause.

She is a fan of Hip Hop and Heavy Metal because both genres are emotionally charged, telling stories of personal struggles and trauma. Her favorite band is Three Days Grace, who wrote the words she wears as a tattoo, reminding her that “It’ll be alright.”
