Wes Upchurch is the other managing member of Head Trauma, an event company focused on bringing underground music to Memphis. His experience organizing and marketing events runs deep, as he’s thrown events ranging from comic and anime conventions to EDM festivals, both in the Midwest and the Midsouth.
These days, he balances his responsibilities to the head trauma family with his full-time job, being the creative director for a locally focused venue, the Memphis Music Room.
Much like his wife, Holly, he enjoys reaching out to and helping those who find themselves in challenging circumstances. You may have read about his other company, SearchResults.Repair, which helps formerly convicted individuals re-establish themselves as productive members of society.
We’s enjoys a wide variety of music ranging from Raggae to Metal, but his real passion is for post grunge and punk rock music. Bands like Shinedown and Goldfinger, tend to be favorites.
